Independence Manor is set in the picturesque rolling hills of Hunterdon County, NJ. Set on a beautifully landscaped site in Flemington, the community is charming with a warm, welcoming feel. Decorated in soothing neutral tones with pleasing nature-themed artwork, a step inside instantly feels like home.

Independence Manor offers a variety of 80 private or companion-style suites in our Assisted Living space plus 10 private apartments in our Manor House space dedicated to memory care. Residents’ personal styles and homelike feel are evident in the decorations hanging on their apartment doors as well as furnishings, pictures and personal belongings brought from home. Several spacious common areas provide comfortable spots to entertain and socialize with family and friends, play a game, do a puzzle, share a meal or read a book. There are card tables, a puzzle room, a library with a wall full of reading material, a piano and even a few victrolas if you want to listen to music. A bright and airy sun porch leads to a relaxing outdoor courtyard landscaped with seasonal plantings, bird feeders, houses and baths.

Residents who want to feel their best will benefit from the convenience of a fully-equipped exercise and fitness room on site. Therapy sessions are available through FOX Rehab in the mornings and open gym time is available in the afternoons to help improve strength and agility. Another on-site amenity to help residents look as great as they feel is our full-service barber/beauty salon.
