My mother was a resident at Independence Manor for almost 9 years. We were so blessed that she was surrounded by compassion, wonderful care, and truly special loving staff members. As her cognitive status declined and she became completely dependent on their care, I was so touched at the love and respect they showed my mother, the special extra steps they took to make sure she was comfortable, and how responsive everyone was…from direct care, nurses, administrators, hairdressers, housekeeping…. Independence Manor truly is a special place. There’s no place like home, but if someone can no longer live at home, Independence Manor is the place to be!
